By all accounts, Intelius’ kind of information services are entirely made of publicly available data, in that they are not gotten through underhanded means. Furthermore, Intellius limits its intelligences to information about people, not companies and corporations.
With its services Intelius can empower a person to make informed decision when dealing with another. Intelius’ criminal intelligences, for example, provide a person with another’s records of convictions, sexual misconducts, and other offenses. The company also offers employment screening services, providing employers with comprehensive information about potential employees.
In fact, Intellius is among the nation’s most favorably reviewed employment screening agency. One of America’s oldest HR magazines, Workforce Management, named Intelius as one of the best employment screening provider in the US. On the other hand, HRO Today ranked Intelius as the country’s second-best.
Yet employee screens only begin to scratch the surface.
