Improved Camping Experience with BT’s WiFi Services

Camping in the UK will be a totally new experience after the installation of WiFi services by BT. The company, in response to the ever increasing number of camping enthusiasts, has decided to provide WiFi services in over 70 campsites and holiday parks across the UK. With more and more people choosing camping in the UK over holidaying abroad, it has become necessary for providers to give something more than just a phone box in a campsite for campers to call home.

At present, BT’s WiFi access is available free of charge to BT Openzone subscribers as well as those of O2 iPhone and mobile broadband who have subscribed for WiFi minutes in their contracts. Other users have the option of buying BT Openzone vouchers from their official website before holidaying. It is obviously necessary for all those wishing to avail this facility to carry wireless enabled gadgets on their holidays (click here for the latest free laptops offers from the internet service providers).

Chris Bruce, General Manager, BT Openzone, has called it a great initiative and stated that this will help people entertain themselves during bad weather conditions while camping. In addition, people can actually surf the internet, make calls home and play online games when they feel like.

This service will also help people transform their camping experience into something more educational and entertaining as they can identify local places of interest on the internet and plan their activities. BT estimates over 50,000 people will go camping during the holidays in August, and it wants this service installed in order to enrich their camping experience.
